Sorceress of the Circle (Kingdom of Talliareum)

She was looking at the soldiers that were lying dead in front of the chapel. Their hands still grasped their swords firmly and a strange and menacing aura surrounded the place. The villagers had told her that evil had come to reside in their town and horrific voices could be heard in the graveyard. A couple of soldiers had gone to investigate but they never came back. And so she set forth alone to search for them, ignoring the village folk who warned her to stay away from the cursed place.

She studied the corpses wthout getting too close to them. It seemed like they had killed each other! She heard a noise of a footstep behind her but did not turn around. Instead she started mumbling mystical words, her eyes and lips changed color and with her right hand reached for a papyrus scroll from her pouch. Now she could hear more footsteps but could sense they were still at a safe for her distance. She slowly turned around to look at the foes...

A dozen rotten corpses and skeletons had surrounded her. They were approaching her slowly fixing their red eyes upon her, making sure not to leave any escape routes open. In the backround she could hear the soldiers she had studied a moment earlier move. They were standing up on their feet.

From a distance, a necromancer was looking at them, counting beeds with his right hand, each and every one of them carved with strange enscriptions. The girl had ventured away from the living and was about to join his forces. He had seen others parralized with fear before of course, but couldn't quite understand why the girl had been so naive and so persistent into venturing here. The Necromancer had lots of work still to do. An additional minion would serve him well...

With a dash of her hand, the scroll caught fire! It embraced her sleeve and glew bright, but did not burn her. On the contrary she was using the enscrolled power to see clearer. And to his freight, he watched as the skeletons under his command stopped, turned around and pointed at him. Their eyes were still red, but it was a flickering red this time. She was using his powers against him. And now, his minions were coming for him...
