Great War Mammooth w/howdah (Krumvaal Northern Alliance)

The Krumvaal Northern Alliance leaders had assembled in the great city of Bruka. These meetings rarely ever took place but the common enemy united them once again. It was not the Orcs this time however; the greenskins had long now stopped their hostilities, probably due to the rising threat they faced from the Undead, growing ever more powerful. The barbaric lands were instead being overrun with Daemons. Their swarms seemed never ending and the Northern Alliance leaders believed part of their lands conquered and lost.

"It is no longer a simple invasion we are suffering," grunted one of the Barbarian overlords, "it is an extermination! We have long lost any rights to these lands and none of our kin dares trend there. It's time we take this back and put an end to it before it's too late."

They proceeded in sacrificing a dozen Elks and during the feast that followed the Druids told them they had been granted the favors of the Gods. And so each of these Warlords went back to their holds, each determined to contribute to their best. The Northern Alliance gathered the largest army ever to be amassed in the snowy territories. So large it is still remembered as the "Hurricane of Wrath".

The Shieldmaidens alone were bringing more than 100 of their huge War Mammooths, hundreds of Ice Warbears and channeling their infantry by the thousands, only to meet up with their once loathed Warmaidens whom replicated with their Grand Yetis, yeti riders, a similar number of warriors and the things from the caves. These two armies alone were a terrifying sight to see. Once they had united with the Barbarian Warlords, their strength spread as far as the eye could see...

Initially the Hurricane of Wrath was having a field day; it plowed through their lost lands demolishing any resistance, making the Daemons scatter and run for their lives. The barbarian tribes would have their long forgotten revenge,  they chased the enemy giving them no quarter, searching everywhere, from caves to rabbit holes. The terrifying daemonic scourge had been crushed, their corpses scattered all over the icy lands.

The Hurricane of Wrath was finally tested deep into the Kingdom of Hell. The sulphur in the burned lands and the continuous harrassing attacks were not slowing them down for an instant. They finally reached Trobednum Fortress, the largest ever created in what used to be part of the Kingdom of Talliareum and now long lost to the daemonic invader. They were the first to lay eyes upon it after centuries. A massive army, likewise the largest the Daemonic lords had ever accumulated was waiting for them...

The next day of that epic battle found no victors. The casualties had been so great that it took many years for both sides to replenish their forces. Little did the Krumvaal Northern Alliance know that the battle of Trobednum Fortress was considered the first daemonic defeat. Had it never taken place, Shieldwolf would not have been the same to this day, for more than half the races would have eventually fallen to the daemonic forces...
